Biron Teas is an organic local craft tea company located in Historic Downtown Brunswick, GA.  It was founded by Andi & Roland Biron, a husband and wife tea-m. Their teas combine Andi’s education in Alternative Medicine with Roland’s culinary and luxury hotel experience. The result is beautifully balanced teas & tisanes.

 

Their teas are blended in small-batches, using carefully sourced, whole leaf teas and herbs.  Whole leaf herbs and teas result in a richer beverage with boosted benefits. All their organic teas are produced, blended, and bagged in their factory, which allows them to create unique regional blends, custom blends, and co-pack for other artisan

tea makers.

 

In 2024, they opened a new Tea Factory and Tasting Room. There they share their passion and knowledge of tea, via tea tastings, tea samplings, and factory tours. Their ticketed tasting events explain the life cycle of tea from leaf to cup complete with tea infused pastries. Samplings allow the public to taste different teas and shop at their leisure and factory tours show how the machinery takes the leaves and packages it into biodegradable pyramid tea bag and compostable overwraps.

 

Sustainability plays a large part in their business.  They package their teas in overwraps and pyramid bags that are both biodegradable and compostable. This is quite revolutionary for the industry and they are proud to offer green packaging.  Their gift tins are made from recycled materials and their pouches are recyclable as well.
